Hey GBody lover, just wondering how long have you been working on your build. I'm on my sixth year with the cutlass its been a slow drip, drip project. its been drivable for 2yrs. now i have fun driving it while I keep working on the loose ends ( posi, replacing front/ rear coil spring ,front/rear control arms, and add a rear sway bar) I had the 455 and th350 transmission rebuilt, seat reupholster, new carpet, new headliner, tires, wheels, new paint job, new front and rear shocks. in six wks it will be time to get back to work.

I've got one that's been getting put back together from a total loss accident for going on its 26th year now.

If you want the one I've tinkered on the longest, that one is on year 40.

Bad thing I was a youngin when I started.
Cars can't do kegels. Sometimes the low mileage saved over the extended project is worth it, if you had something else to enjoy in the meanwhile.

That said... I too started when much younger than now. Need to get to doing something about it.

Bought my SS with the 305/2004R in it Nov 2010, drove it for a little bit before tearing it down and putting in a LS & T56 6spd Manual in late Dec 2010. Have had different variations of that over the years but the goal was to have it driveable as much as possible. Hard to have a nice car sitting still.

wow ....well I guest I'll stop my complaining and feeling bad about how long its taking and just keep turning the wrench on my project.
