I purchased a mid 90's corvette radio from "ccc87gn" on e-bay
It was a direct bolt in for my 87 442, the cd player has been updated and an ipod jack installed on the faceplate.
This thing only took like 15 minutes to install and workes perfectly!!
Heres a picture installed

I added an Ipod jack to my stock Olds radio as well. Still has the tape deck but with an Ipod, you don't really need anything else. :)

This is the kit I bought:

Yeah, I don't have tapes either but that's he point in the MP3 jack modification. You can have the factory look of a tape deck but the modern sound quality of an MP3 player. It's made CD's somewhat obsolete as well. No more need for that 12 disc CD changer in the trunk. :)

I looked for a CD player for my '87 but the problem is its extremely hard to find an Olds/Buick CD player. I know the other makes fit but, and this is just my opinion, they don't look as nice. The Olds/Buick radios all had actual black knobs and buttons along with more chrome whereas the other makes like Pontiac, etc had grey buttons and were more generic looking.
