Led lights in stock housing

Anybody ever install led In stock housing? I'm thinking of putting LED's in my Malibu tail light. I'm thinking of using truck lights. Any ideas, suggestion? Thank you.

There is a company that makes kits for classic cars.

I heard about it maybe 5 years ago, and they didnt have them for skylarks. They started with a 1st Gen Camaro then branched out to all sorts of other cars.

Ill have to search for it, will post back if i find it.

I just bought replacement LED bulbs and used them inside the stock taillight.

Worked great. Left side has the LED bulbs and the right has the stock bulbs for comparison:

I have a buddy that will make custom ones using your housings with LED boards installed.
