Along with my HID lights that I bought I also bought a couple of LED taillight bulbs from the same company. http://www.ddmtuning.com

They had a pretty decent price on them. $7.50 each which is quite a bit cheaper than the $25/ea I've seen most other places.

However I only bought two because I've heard from other people that had bought similar bulbs on Ebay that they don't work or light up the taillight housing properly.

I decided to test these out in my mom's '88 CSCB and took a few videos of them. They actually work extremely well:

The LED's are on the driver's side and the stock incandescent's are on the right.

Video of one of the bulbs out of the housing:

No resistors. I know they say that sometimes you need to get different flashers so handle LED's but I wanted to see if they would work without them. Seem to work just fine without. For the moment.

These are double contact so they function has taillights, stop lamps, turn signals etc. just like the stock bulbs.

Looks nice, I used bulbs and a flasher from superbrightleds.com in my 442. I replaced all of the exterior bulbs and they make quite a difference in terms of color and looking clean. I like the crisp flash they provide.

Yeah, the only reason I hadn't tried them yet is the price.

I was going to go with the one's from Superbrightleds but man, there's no way I was going to spend over $100 just to replace my indicator bulbs.

At $7.50 each, these will be bad enough. 🙁
