Hey all! Was hoping for some help! Working on my 3rd G Body, kind of! My first is an 82 ElCamino, then I did motor and transmission work on an 82 Malibu Wagon, only to decide its to rotted so I went on a new body search, when I found a near mint 79 LeMans Wagon. Anyway I'm swapping the drive-train in the next month or so, then paint in the spring. Can't imagine not replacing the emblem! That's the one thing good about doing a Malibu, most of what you need can
be found at the EL Camino store!

I had the same question about an emblem for my '79 leMans coupe. I found out through other members that a T/A or Firebird one will fit. I saw one in the National Parts Depot catalogue but another member said Classic industries also. The one I saw was $50 brand new repro, unless you're lucky enough to find a good used one for less. I think you need to find one from an F body with a urethane nose though and cut off one of the tabs. Good luck with the project, solid looking wagon!

This is an emblem pirated directly off of a '77 Trans Am. I think it looks pretty good, and is fairly cheap at repo vendors.

Yeah it looks good!!! Was it a direct fit or did you have to modify it in some way? Mine looks like crap.

It was a few years ago, but I don't remember it being difficult. I was swapping the nose so that helped make it pretty easy.

Surely. The overall height is 4 and 7/8". The overall width is 2 and 1/8". And from the bottom tip of the arrowhead to the bottom center of the "V"on top is 4 and 1/4". It fit into the bumper indent perfectly.
