I cant seem to find it, but at one point I saw how to modify the license plate so it would stay down when you are filling up. Does any one know what I'm talking about?

Replace the rear license plate bracket with one from an F body. Bolts on directly and it stays down when filling up.

I've never seen one but you've sparked my interest. I'll look around.
There's a little plastic, cone shaped peg behind the license plate of my Regal.
I just wedge my gas cap between that and a little curved spot on the back of my license plate holder.
It only keeps it half-way down, but it's better than nothing.
What kind of car is it, anyway?

I used one out of a late 90's Caprice.....

It fit with a little bit of filing of the bolt holes. Most have a rubber flap to prevent gas falling on the bumper, But it was missing on mine. Cost about 5 bucks!

Just get one from a 3rd gen camaro, trust me i have it on mine and it bolts up with no mods, easiest thing u can do. Bought it for 13 bucks from the wrecking yard

I got one on eBay (3rd gen F-body) and it took 2 minutes to switch out. $10 bux shipped (or there abouts if I recall correctly).

Simple, great mod.

I saw this after someone posted before about it.

Definitley recommend the swap.
