If you are going the "blocking cookie mode" then make a habit of visiting your browsers "History and Cache" in either Tools, or Settings, and emptying it/them out yourself or setting up a regular schedule for that to happen. While more work, doing it yourself is a better way to know that it got done and not depending on a software package to do it for you. A lot of software will tell you that your file has been "deleted" when it has only been removed from the current list and parked elsewhere. Erase is the only method that will scrub the file away and even then the fact that it existed at some point and got edited out of the gene pool will remain on record.
