Anyone with an 87 limited regal this question is for you. 😀
Is there an extra set of panels under the dash that covers all the wiring under the driver and passenger side? I remember when I was shopping for an 87 .This guy had these panels under the dash ,I thought they where custom made because they didn't seem to line up right and he had other custom interior work done(but that car was in need of extreme tlc, that or the crusher 😛 ). I completely forgot about this. Any info and pix will help thanks.

I used to own a 1980 Regal Limited and it had those black plastic under dash panels on both side to hide the wiring and such. The were factory panels for sure.

Some of the Gbody's had what you'd call "hush panels" under the dash. Plastic trim with insulation on the back side. A little trap door to get at the fuse panel (pain in the *ss) I've got a set I can post up some pics later on.

Yea, I tore a couple Cutlass dashes out recently and they had those extra panels underneath. Probably makes it a little quieter I guess.

yep those are the one's that i have.

Thanks everybody. Yep I agree it was a pain in the butt to get to the fuses. That is why I assumed it was a custom piece. But a closer look at gmpartsgiant.com interior section revealed to me that part with part number. But like everything else its NOT AVAILABLE. But I'm sure I'll find at a junk yard just not sure if I want to install yet. 😛

try lookin in a cutlass. the few times ive looked for parts around the dash area ive always seen them there just sitting all the time everytime
Ok thanks, funny you should mention that. Cause most of the time there are cutlass's but rarely any regals.

I have a passenger's side under dash panel for sale. It still has the underpadding attached to it. No cracks or nicks, and I have sanded/scuffed it and painted it satin black (I was gonna use it). Turns out I don't really need it with my custom heaterbox setup and new carpet, there's no need for it. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll put up a pic.
