i was wondering if anyone here used them in there cars? i was looking at my JEGS mag and couldnt find any in there. i want to get one for my elkyso when i do finnally take it to the strip i can do a burnout without wearing out my rear brakes. any suggestions?

how does it work? what brand is it, and do you have any pics you can throw up on here? thanx

I believe all they do is hold the pressure in your front lines so you can release the brake pedal :?:

We have a HURST brand one available at NAPA (PN# 335-4275) and installation kit (PN# 335-4289) When you are searching for it on SUMMIT or JEGS, try searching for "roll control"

Line Lock is really a simple thing to understand. It's just a solenoid and a switch, thats it. When you push the button to activate it, (Once you hold down the brake) It'll hold the brake line pressure by blocking it, aka holding the pressure even though your not on the pedal. Also keep in mind if your going to install this, make sure your just installing it to the front brake lines, not the back or you won't be doing any cool burnouts any time soon!

sounds like a plan...now to get it running!

Be careful on istilation. make sure you are installing the line lock between the front calipers and the proportioning valve tci has pretty good instructions on this. Putting the line lock before the valve on the front line will cause eratic brake issues such as right front to release slow even off the foot break. I had this problem when I first purchased my car. Have fun.

In the Jegs Spring catalog, on page 46h there is what is called a Stage Control kit, item #555-63002K for $121.99 with all the hardware. I have this same kit on my Willys and it works great.

I'm running a B & M line lock and we installed it right next to the master cylinder works great. i also got the b and m t handle for it. i put a switch in line so i can kill power to the button when I'm drivin on the street just to be safer i guess.
