I installed a B&M one, here's a few things I noticed
- the solenoid is a cylindrical piece that is assembled inside the main body. When you go to tighten the fittings, and you use alot of force, the solenoid will start to rotate inside the body. It was very tough to get the fittings tight enough with this issue
- I installed mine between the master cylinder and the proportioning valve. "technically" this is the incorrect method, but it works fine for me.
- when using it at the track, it helps to pump the brakes once or twice before applying lock, then one more pump ontop, it holds really well this way
here's a video of mine in use

i've seen some pix of guys running just a adjustable proportiong valve for the rear and a line lock for the front. question ..can you run a setup like this without the standard prop. valve? i'd like to do this to mine if it will work.
I personally won't use a line lock any more. I had one freeze in the closed position which came close to wrecking my car. If it hadn't of been for the poor traction on the side of the track the side of the car wouldn't look pretty. Traction of the left tire pulled it back on the track. After talking with the track crew it happens several times a season.
