Seems like some people go to junkyards and buy parts that others just discard. I know lowriders seek out low ratio rear ends for our cars when we put 13's on them. Tubular a-arms are not generally used in lowriding but buying a set of stocks from the junkyard and welding ¼" steel to them is common practice. I had a guy offer me a V-8 for my 3.8 so he could make the front of his car lighter to hop it higher. Stock spindles and rear trailing arms are replaced with Caprice spindles and tubular adjustable trailing arms.

Well as far as parts i've "discarded" either by throwing away or selling, off my regal i have discarded the complete a/c system, the smog pump and complete air injection system, stock air cleaner and thermac system with the stove heater pipe and heat shield. I've also gotten rid of the front & rear shocks/springs as well as the front sway bar and replaced the stock upper trailing arms with chrome adjustable ones since i have a hydraulic suspension now. I got rid of all the emblems and key holes too. I may be deleting the a/c heater box while taking out the blown stock engine next month too.

If everything goes well I will have a stock gbody frame to get rid of soon (doing a swap). Not getting rid of much else right now.
