Yeah, but doesn't the foam on the ring usually go poo-poo? Or, was that 95 and up...?I always liked the 88-94 Chevrolet Truck 4-spoke wheels. They are comfortable and wont block the view of your dash.

I've never had any wear out on me, and I used to be into those trucks a few years ago before I bought new.Yeah, but doesn't the foam on the ring usually go poo-poo? Or, was that 95 and up...?
I had an 1986 Firebird with that wheel in it. It was not a TransAm thought. The TA may have had a different wheel.Mine is out of a 3rd gen firebird. My dad's is an 85 Trans Am WS6, and has a different wheel than this, so I'm not sure of the year of this one. View attachment 72393

I had an SE with gray interior and the wheel was gray leather. The horn did have a firbird logo on it. As with many of the horn covers at that time that is easily swapped with most of the other wheels of the same type.I think you're right. I think the firebirds got this thinner wheel, and the trans ams got the chunkier wheel with more bolstering.
