Yeah, but doesn't the foam on the ring usually go poo-poo? Or, was that 95 and up...?
I've never had any wear out on me, and I used to be into those trucks a few years ago before I bought new.

Mine is out of a 3rd gen firebird. My dad's is an 85 Trans Am WS6, and has a different wheel than this, so I'm not sure of the year of this one.

Mine is out of a 3rd gen firebird. My dad's is an 85 Trans Am WS6, and has a different wheel than this, so I'm not sure of the year of this one. View attachment 72393
I had an 1986 Firebird with that wheel in it. It was not a TransAm thought. The TA may have had a different wheel.

I think you're right. I think the firebirds got this thinner wheel, and the trans ams got the chunkier wheel with more bolstering.

I had an SE with gray interior and the wheel was gray leather. The horn did have a firbird logo on it. As with many of the horn covers at that time that is easily swapped with most of the other wheels of the same type.
