It's a crap shoot where delcos are made, some are made here, some in Germany, Mexico, Japan, others assembled here using japenese parts, lol. Some are just reboxed NGK plugs too.

this is why i dont like shopping for plugs. too many reasons not to trust this company or that company, lack of consistency IMO in the products they put out. i'm not expecting a lot out of a 2 dollar spark plug but come on, the last thing you want to see is an electrode fall out of a spark plug.

ok lets try NGK. which one to get? v power, platinum, iridium?

I have always used NGK V-Power, they have always worked well and they have a nice variety of heat ranges with an easy number system to know hot from cold and the ones I get are $2.69 a plug and I keep a few full sets of different heat ranges on hand.

You only need Platinum or Iridium on a waste-fire ignition system. That's the type that uses 1 coil per 2 cylinders. The constant reversing of the polarity erodes the electrode fast and only those plugs can withstand the abuse. A good copper plug is all our cars need.

I run NGK plugs in all of my cars and I love them. Not too expensive either.
