This is the style of Exhaust Manifold I use in my Olds powered cars.

Gas/diesel mounts are the same, but there are a left and right.
I have 1 gas and 1 diesel mount under my 455 since I lost my originals...
Don't pay much attention to the gap between the pan and the crossmember, but rather the correlation between the bottom of the pan and the bottom of the crossmember.

Are you sure you have Left and Right in their correct positions? What kind of shape are your body mounts in?
I thought it might be an issue of having the frame pads backwards, left to right, or even upside down, but I have checked, measured and rechecked it all again and I cannot see that the mounts are located in the wrong holes or possibly backwards. The body mounts are something I havent looked at because the car is in such good condition for its age. Its a NC car, very little rust on the frame, underneath, or on the body. I guess I can look into it. I know the front ones near the radiator support are good. I will check the others. Thanks!

Hey Crazy....What year engines/cars are those manifolds off of? I looked into using 260, 307 manifolds for my build, but theyre all too small in the ports for a 350. header would solve the issue...but Im trying to stay as stock as possible.
