Lost my cat today.

[Clone TIE Pilot]

My orange Tabby cat, Jonesy past away today. He had been ailing and losing weight the past year. Took him to the vets who pretty much just blew me off due to his age, Jones was about 17. Found him as a little kitten crying under the bushes by my backdoor one summer night way back in 2004. I named him after the cat in Alien. RIP Jonesy.

Hate to hear things like that. Ive always had cats. The two I have now are brother and sister and theyre 9. Its always tough to lose one. Sorry for your loss.

Bummer. I had a yellow tabby i had to put down due to Wilford Brimley disease (diabetes). He was a great cat that actually entertained most everyone in the neighborhood. He was a lovable killer - squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks and cheese chunks. It was sad watching him deteriorate - what I’m trying to say I feel your pain.

We have 5 cats presently, 2 pita’s, a little guy that thinks he’s king and Smokey and Bandit (brothers over 20lb each). I used to hate cats until my wife turned me. Now I’m lost without them. After we return from vacation the 1st item on the agenda is finding the big fluff balls.

sorry for your loss, they really become just like a human member of the family.

I lost my 2 girls within a couple years of each other, and it's hard to comprehend on how such a small amount of fur, can take a part of your heart when they go.
