Inner lower door structure

May delete this one later. Feel like I’m caught with my pants down😂😂
surprised oh my GIF

I still have a little more welding to do, but after grinding down my welds, I’m happy with how it’s coming out. Side note, I’ve been fighting with my welder since I started working on this car. After checking everything, I found that I had the wrong tip in the gun. I went to a .035 tip when I put flux core in way back when I was working on a thick steel project outside. I never changed the tip back. What a difference.

By the time I’m done with this car I’ll be way upside down in labor. At least I work for a paint jobber now, so I get a nice discount on materials.

Had to do this simular patch last summer I'm not picturing mine but I did leave drain gaps periodically close to skin

It's too bad GM didn't put much thought into the size and placement of those drain holes, could have saved us all from the dreaded flapping door bottom syndrome
