Ok so at first i was gonna drop my olds an inch but now that ive got the new 17s on it, it looks like it could very easily go more, what i was wondering is if i went 2 inches with just springs would that mess with my front geometry? Also would i have to run a shorter shock? If it would be better id get 2 inch drop springs for the back and 1 inch drop springs for the front with a 1 inch drop spindle

I just put a set of springs and spindles on my 78 cutlass. 1.5" springs in front and 2" s10 spindles. Its hammered in the front and tucks the tire.

I put 2" springs on the rear. It only lowered it about .25" Guess the rear springs were sagged out but not the front.

its going to mess with the geometry yes, The front end of our cars is basically the same as an s-10. I know from lowering plenty of those trrucks that they ride much better and align correctly with lowering spindles. I will soon try to lower my 81 with a 2 in lowering spindle from an s10 to see how much it changes things, i bet it isnt any different.

If you use the s 10 lowering spindle it will have the removable rotor and the hub assembly vs. our giant rotor assembly correct?

nope, 2 wd s-10 is the same front steering components and share alot of parts together.

The sealed bearing "S10" Swap is only on newer blazers . There is a write up about them on here .

The sealed bearing is what i was going for, and both for looks and performance. One so my wheels will fit better without rubbing the hub and because of the better brake upgrades and ease of change
