LS mounts

Is this the correct location for the clamshells. Want to use Holley LS mounts.

Looks to me wrong position. Should be way more forward. Mount also look strange to me, solid mounts?

What engine was in the car? They look like 3.8 Buick, but if they're 307 Olds, I'll take them.

Read the holley instructions. They have pics of the mounts and go into detail about which frame holes to use.

Those are cradle pads, not clamshells. Google image search will do wonders here.

Yes, it was a 3.8 Buick. I do not have the instructions because I have not bought the Holley mount kit yet.
I was going to paint the frame and wanted to move them to the correct position now.
Thanks for the link but the pictures are not the right angle to show the mounts.

holley changed their web site and no longer offer the instructions on line.
