BUILD THREAD LS1 79 El Camino

And then, after having the second windshield installed, all the trim blows off on the freeway on the way home.......View attachment 255198
Man that sucks, sorry. You just can't win, I know the feeling. Did you reach out to the installer of the windshield? My guess would be they didn't properly reinstall it

Yea, I did. They're making it right and buying me new trim.

Actually, I bought new clips and trim seals for the first installer to use and the second place told me they didn't use the new clips. It still had old, crappy clips in it. So this is partially their fault too

That does suck but hopefully they do make it right. I noticed some other different/new parts in the wheel wells. Details?
Not sure what parts you're referring to but I have BMR front upper and lower control arms, Viking coilovers, UMI brace, and F41 front sway bar. The rears are UMI springs, control arms, shock tower and control arms braces, and Viking shocks. No rear sway bar yet

Never read any details about the wheel & tire change from the original pic that had the late 2nd GEN F-body wheels.

Oh, ok. Those are Year One Corvette Rally wheels. Fronts are 17x8. Rears are 17x 9. Running Nitto 555s in 245/45/17 and 275/40/17. I really like them but I wouldn't mind having some GM center caps. I'm told the originals fit the year one wheels but I haven't confirmed it
