ls1 carb????

has anyone done the ls1 converstion with the carb. i found a 5.3 pretty cheap and i was wondering if u have to have a distributer or not. ive seen some with a distributer and some without. if anyone has any info at all it will help

Someone (edelbrock?) has a carb'd intake that comes with a MSD( i think) box that will still use the stock style coils.
