There is an LSx section at MalibuRacing.com. Several guys have very detailed conversions.

Is there anyone on here that has done this type of swap before

I think there are a couple, but like 86Cutlass383SR said there are several guys that've done the LS thing on MalibuRacing. I don't know who's done the swap on here. You can expect to spend at least $2,000 unless you find used parts at really good prices. The LS swap isn't for the faint of heart... or wallet for that matter, otherwise I would've already done it myself.

Is your car a factory turbo Monte? They're pretty uncommon.

yes it i got it from the g-body store it not running in its current condition now but the body and interior is solid, yeah you are right the swap its self is exspensive i just had a 408 tpi swap done for my 1980 pontiac lemans its the car as the malibu just a little different and not as popular as the malibu

yeah its the step child of the bunch but really all of the pontiac are really not mention that much i also have a grand prix 82 to be exact and when i drive it people normal ask me what kind of car is it oe that a different looking monte carlo until they see the red prism or down arrown that they have for a symble
