Honestly, an aftermarket harness is the best choice for 95% of people. I know this is a blunt statement but - if you have to ask what to do, it's probably beyond your skill level. That's not meant as a personal dig at you at all. I've done a few LT1 swaps and done it both ways. The aftermarket harness can be installed in about 10 minutes and is done. I realize they are expensive but they are worth it. If you really feel you must do your own harness I would suggest finding a local repair shop with Shopkey or Mitchell OnDemand. Ask if they will print a copy of the engine performance ECM wiring diagram. It's probably about 3 pages. You can safely delete EVAP, A.I.R., AC. You will need to keep TPS, IAC, CTS, knock sensors, intake air temp sensor, both oxygen sensors, Optispark. The EGR solenoid is optional but I'd keep it. You will need to have circuit protection for all power feeds and good grounds. You can keep the factory PDC if you like but it's bulky. You will also need to integrate a fuel pump relay. Expect to at least 15-20 hours to do a decent job. Don't forget you will need to disable VATS also.

I'll hack your harness for you. Send me a pm if you are interested. I have done a few and they have turned out pretty nice. I am getting ready to hack my own in the next few days, so it will be fresh in my mind....Anyway, the aftermarket ones are nice if you have the cash. They are overpriced in my opinion for what they are. The LT1swap web site has all the info you need though.
