Will the lugnuts that are used on the 79 Hurst Olds work on the late 80's mesh wheels that came on some Cutlasses? Pic of mesh wheel provided; 00q0q_UwuUhhckPU_1200x900.jpg

These wheels would be going on a 78 Cutlass so they would require the 7/16 threading, hense not being able to use the stock mesh wheel lugnuts which are metric.

My Mcgard 7/16" lug nuts with 13/16" wrench size fit no problem when I put them on my 70S.

I wasn't happy with the condition of the wheels so never bought em. Would've been nice if the stupid Craigslist poster didn't misrepresent them in his ad. Wasted over 2 hours of time and gas driving out to look at those POS rims...

I don't understand people like that, they know the condition of the wheels and that sucks but when that happens but I enjoy the drive whether the deals works out or not...

Being aluminum, if it was corrosion, they can be stripped, sanded and polished. I did mine and reclear clear coated them, they turned out OK. But the seller should have said so and the price should have reflected the condition. You are planning 1970 style dog dishes now, correct?
