Should I get one muffler with the 2 in and 2 out or two separate mufflers?

What is that part number on the 2 in 2 out muffler?

44 series flowmaster are the way to go. 8)

I have a flowmaster. It is loud and makes people think my car has 400 hp when it doesnt but it sounds so cool. I plan on changing it when my budget is higher. Thing was cheep, like free.

The way I understand it as, Flowmasters dont flow, but they sound way better than a glasspack IMO.

Yeah I just checked those out and they seem like they would work great on the cutlass...

I've got flowys on my malibu and magnaflow on my truck and just by pure sound i will be installing magnaflow on all the rest of my future vehicles

i would go with magnaflow i was already looking into them and i think im gonna get magnaflow when my swap is complete

You picked up a second in the 1/4 with a muffler and tailpipes??? That would be 50-60 hp right?

To the OP, if you aren't running a high horsepower engine, I bet you won't notice a big difference in power no matter which muffler you go to unless it is a track car. I would go by the sound you are looking for. I do like the flowmasters on my stock 307 and on my 350 sbc because they sound good and are not too loud. They are also over 10 years old on both cars and still in great condition and not rusted. I don't think I have ever heard magnaflow's on a sbc so I can't comment.

check this out this is the exhaust on my 99 yukon with a stock 350 with dual cats I put on a dual in dual out magnaflow which has a internal x and it gained almost a full second it the quarter and 2 mpg just by dumping the factory exhaust and adding a magnaflow and some new tailpipes and tips since it was factory dualed up to the muffler then a single tailpipe and unlike a flowmaster there is hardly any droning in the cab

here is the new magnaflow you can see through it so it is as flow through as you can get
