I didn't write any of this- it's stuff I put together from this forum & others, etc. and includes part numbers and information related to making a dual snorkel air cleaner setup with stock parts. I gathered this information to make my own but it's definitely something others are interested in and I hope it's helpful in some way. It seems as though the MC setup is more prevalent, however, I see no reason that the Olds version wouldn't work just as well.

It's my understanding that the Olds air inlets that bolt to the core support will fit all years, and that both types fit all G Body core supports, but that info needs verified by someone smarter than me.

Dual snorkel airclraners add 10 hp to an otherwise stock L69. Its why the L69 equipped Camaros are rated 190HP over a stock MCSS 180 rating.

Those Screencaps take me back to the good Ole days at MCSS. A lot of good info in the old to ancient threads there. It's a shame that forum has devolved into a hangout for trolls in recent years.

I had something like that on my '79 Malibu when I got it. I sold it to one of our members here who lives in ( I think ) New York.

Now that's an interesting one... What car did the inlets come from?

I have a couple of the L69 set-ups. They are hard to source these days.
They sure are. I've got the housing but no hoses or inlets for it.

I have 2x correct housings/lids & 2x sets of the snorkles/inlets. One good set of hoses & another not so good.

The good hoses, one pair of inlets & one of the housings/lid were being used under the hood of my 'Bu (no drivetrain @ the moment). The second housing is shop wall art for now. Since they're hard to find, I picked that set-up up just because.....
