I got bored tonight so i took a old pair of clear cutlass parking lights i had to try my amber paint on something clear. It took about 4 coats of paint to get the clear covered good and i edged the outside lip with silver. Turned out descent and will make a good backup set to put on the shelf. I hate the clear lights

Those lights came out good and look factory.
I have the clear with amber bulbs in the Monte but for the Regal I bought new amber front lights and matching side marker lights and I like them .
My factory side markers were more of a really light amber with chrome trim.

Those look awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy how that works, mine is just a Cutlass Supreme and came with the amber lenses.
Yet somehow they knew it would become a performance oriented Cutlass.

Interesting. It looks like amber was exclusive to 442, H/O and Salon only up until 1986. 87-88's across the board were randomly amber and clear. Perhaps nearing the end of the G body, GM was trying to use up it's inventory? Dunno....

I like ambers. I like amber lights too. 😛
