My 79 olds cutlass salon 442 had silver rally wheels on it seen in the picture. My father and i have taken one of the rims and repainted it black to see how it would look on the car. The pic of the black rim is also with my $150 4 tire deal that i found. Tires have less than 200 miles on them. The guy just wanted to get rid of them. Let me know what you guys all think how they would look on my car. Forgot center cap at shop so sorry thats not on the rim.

Would look much better IMO, also get some white raised letter tires, that would look killer...
See if you can find some 15" rims, that would give you better handling and look even better.

My dad was thinking about trying to find a fine white paint marker and filling in the letters but i dont know... In my opinion i dont really have a preference on tires. they all smoke white

I would recommend strongly against painting white letters on those tires. I couldn't afford new white letters at the time so I went with used blackwalls, I'm happy with how they look. I'm fairly indifferent on the black versus silver wheels on your car. I sort of like the silver wheels with the two-tone paint, but black wouldn't look bad either.

I've "white lettered" many tires..don't see the problem..they turned out nice
