Making your own bracing?

I have been on the hunt in my local yards for the various bracing bars from G bodies to put in my Cutlass. Well one yard has no G Bodies at all and the closest one has all of 2 in and the only bars there are the jounce bars from another Cutlass that I already have and the radiator cross braces from a Regal that I pulled already.

I know that there are aftermarket parts I can buy to do all of this but I'm working on a tight budget so those are out of the question for now. So I got thinking what about making my own bars? Particularly the core support to fender, fender to firewall bars, the GP bar (think I remember seeing pics of one someone here made) and the rear frame tie bar.

Has anyone here built all of these themselves? What size of tubing and wall thickness should I use? Can anyone provide some measurements and specs for how long these should be? Pictures would be great as well. Thanks all.

it would be easy I made my own version of the gp bar check it out as far as the ones with the flat ends you could heat the end up red hot and beat it flat then drill your hole in it I used heavy wall 3/4" pipe for mine
