I have a 1979 Malibu Wagon and the rear tailgate window gasket is shot. I've looked and my Dad prior to him passing to me the car, have searched everywhere. No luck, any ideas or suggestions? Appreciate any help!!

You might try METRO TG95 {#4673403} Tailgate Seal

Take a trip your local U-Pull-It yard and you can probably pick one up for under $10.00.
The Caravan-Voyager weatherstrips work pretty well. Someone suggested one from a Ford Explorer...another person said he used a trunk seal from a Malibu sedan or coupe...but you'd have to find stuff that had not been cut to size.

Thanks for the tips!

You're welcome. I think a Caravan-Voyager from the early 2000's might be the one you want. The earlier ones have a slightly different profile, but they work as well....and best of all, there's lot's of them out there.
