Warning... a lot of pictures

I finally got the Malibu running Wednesday

Have to wait 'til tomorrow (Saturday) to get a pair of pipes bent to attach the headers to the rest of the exhaust, but besides that it's basically ready to drive (just have to put the shifter boot back in) :D

LOOKS GREAT!!!!

It looks like you had CRUISE CONTROL, how did you solve that problem? Did you buy another cable or is there an adapter you can get to connect to cables together?

Four speed adds some cool factor. I like the use of the factory guages. Not sure what cam & gear but I could see you useing all 6 grand of that tach with a sbc. Then again no reason the needle could not spin past it if it needed to. I hooked up the factory guages in my 442 to the Cadillac motor but its an auto that shifts at 5,200.

The cam is a Comp XE268H (224º/230º @ .050, .477/.480). Besides that, the GMPP intake (PN 12366573), and 600cfm Eddy (1405), the motor is just a stock Vortec 350 (block is an '88).

So the muffler shops couldn't really make a tight enough radius from the driver's side collector. I wouldn't have any more clearance with the shorties than I would with the long tubes, so I just said screw it & put those back on. Up side is the work isn't required to do any major bends to connect it now. Passenger's side is already connected, driver's side needs a 6-8" section to connect everything together.
