New ones sell for three times that. Mallory makes good distributors. I'll be using a Unilite on my sbc whenever it goes together. Make sure to read up on how to hookup the connections.

I would want to make sure that all the replacement parts are still available for this style Mallory (cap,rotor etc.) The new distributors are billet and this might have been made before Mr. Gasket acquired Mallory so there could have been a design change. Also this guy bought it used according to the shipping label and he is saying it might need a cap and rotor, just sort of makes you wonder?

whoo ok good so i didnt waste my money then haha yea i looked this up an it was a or is still expensive 500$ from summit wow... whats so speical about anyone know? i dont know how i'm going to use this though because my wire harness is for HEI setup where it just plugs in the HEI so how would i use this??

Like I posted above, it has three wires coming from it. One goes to coil positive, one negative, and one ground. That may change depending on application but if you read the instructions from the link I posted, you will see.
