master cylinder -which port is front brakes?

Dumb question but I don't remember what was what from when I took my car apart and haven't found anything via google yet to figure it out. I assume the front port on the master cylinder is the front brakes?

Your assumptions are correct.

Rear port of master cylinder, closest to the firewall, goes to the front brakes.
