I have thrown around many ideas on paint for my Cutlass...

Originally I wanted a 2 tone paint job with the top of the car black and the sides silver, then I decided maybe the top of the car white and the sides charcoal gray, then maybe the whole car an olive green.... I am down to either 442 Gray metallic or 1967 Goodwood green from a vette...

these are some of the cars I looked at to make my choice...

Im thinking the Goodwood green for 2 main reasons... 1) my buddy who is doing the body work with me has a gallon of it that he mixed a year ago and never used- he is willing to donate it and help me do a nice job on the body work and 2) because I have the vette rallys on the car, once it's lowered it will just fit with the look of the wheels/stance.

What are your thoughts?

I like the Goodwood Green myself as well, its a very pretty color and beside that, its also going to make you stand out amongst the rest, blending in is for boring people, you wanna be different, AND the fact that the paint is or might be FREE is good reason to go with this color also.

Good choice in color.. Go for it. I think the car would great.
Is all the lower trim going back on, or are the holes going to be filled?

I think I won't put the trim back on. If anything I will do a 2 tone like the 442 and have the lower body line down be silver. It will break up the paint and if I choose I could do a tasteful pinstripe like the 442 has

a Goodwood Green and silver paint scheme would look very nice. Just like NIKE says JUST DO IT!

I agree. The green and silver would look pretty cool...maybe even a champagne gold lower accent. I think either of those colors would complement the green.

The fact that your friend has a gallon of Goodwood Green is a big plus. That could indeed save you some money. It's a nice rich looking color.
