Someone offer this service?

I would need a body , without engine, frames, axle, tires, fenders, etc.....

Only from firewall to trunk lid..... all interior wiring harnes and t-top complete....

I'm sure somebody offers that service. The best way in my opinion would be to buy somebody's project car that is missing the engine and transmission and other body parts you dont need. With the frame and suspension it would make the body easier to move around. You might be able to get around having any import fees or regulations from shipping in a complete car.

what about this?

Special laws allow tax-exempt new/used car imports by persons returning from exile or returning after living abroad (for one complete year or more) for studies or work after a determined number of years. People domiciled in two domestic free trade zones, Iquique in the north and Punta Arenas in the south may also import used cars. Imports in these areas are exempt from customs duties and VAT. (See Various Trade Arrangements).

Hi,

Are you Chilean? About Iquique and Punta Arenas.... Yes it is, but only people who lives there can import used car, the rest of normal people not...If some one offer me a job in restauration for one year...I will inmediately.....ufff my dream.....

Good day ,

Waldo

Chile have a very restrictive law about imported cars its a real problem for people like me......

I talk with a freight company and told me ,it is possible but dismantle all car and send in 2 or 3 different date if not .....its a real pain.....

But I dont have any person who can dissaembly the car for me and stay 1 or 2 month to put in a freight service to Chile or perhaps it would be very expensive.

Chile is too far of the rest of the world!!!!!!

Maybe i need to forget that crazy idea and never have a t-top 🙁((((((

Unfortunately, you might have to forget about it. It may cost you more time and money than it's worth.

what about buying a vehicle already there. This one doesn't have the red plates so it's not from a domestic free zone. and if you really want t-tops you do a conversion
