I changed my T top seals back in 2011 with a set from Metro, the seals were not formed properly over the A piller so based on some photos Metro sent me a new set back in 2011. Fast forward to this year I made the defective seals work and decided to change them this summer. The replacement seals covered the A pillar better but were still not right leaving a good section of the A pillar exposed. I thought I would be out of luck but I looked up the warranty for the seals, Metro warranties the seals for 15 years from date of purchase. I contacted the person who I was dealing with back in 2011 and they are still working there, I sorta made it sound like the car was off the road since 2011 and I only got around to changing the seals now and explained these seal had the same problem as the first set of seals. He told me they would need the shipping sheet of the set they sent me back in 2011 so I thought oh oh, but to my surprise I found the packing slip in the GP folder. I scanned it and sent it to him, then he came back and said that the seals probably shrunk being stored for so long. I expained they had not shrunk and that everything fit but it was missing rubber to cover the A pillar. He agreed to send me another replacement but said it would take a while cause they had to start production back up and they had none in stock. Well the seals showed up today and it looks like the section that goes over the A pillar is correct on theses ones.

I have said it before but I find when I am dealing with companies who manufacture their parts in the US are the best when it comes to honoring their warranties. I might have had 2 bad sets but I would buy from Metro again due to them standing behind their products and they are quick without hassle to make things right. ....🙂
