Monday Nite Football

I went out with my son and his girlfriend for the game tonite. They are flying back to Australia on Friday so the beer and wings were on me. My son's favorite team is the 49's and they are my second with the Raiders being the first. I expected a hard fought defensive game tonite with the Bears but the 49's literally walked all over the Bears with their offence and defence. I wanted to see the 49's win but not like that. What the heck happen to the Bears..

I have no idea. My dad and I are lifelong Bears fans, we were wondering the same thing. They haven't had a particularly difficult schedule up to this point, but tonight was just plain ugly. Cutler being out obviously wasn't the major issue, they failed to perform on basically every front. The failure of defense was the biggest surprise for me, they've been fairly strong up to this point. The offensive line has needed work, and that REALLY showed tonight. But there's no excuse. The Bears looked bad and deserve the question "what happened?" Kaepernic had a fantastic first NFL start. It would seem he has quite a future.
