Ok do I have a 1983 grand prix coming and it has the stock transmission which is a th400 I believe? Can anyone verify that? Anyways it's a 3 speed and I have a 1986 monte Carlo with a 350 and stock trans which is a th2004r. Anyways I believe my monte Carlo transmission is burned up, can I put the grand prix transmission on it? Will if fit without modification? Is this a good idea? What are the pros and cons?
