There may be documentation of what was used then in 1980, but it was around 1988 when we got 4 Personal Computers in our office and no one knew how to use them or what good they were for, except for students or recent grads. Early in the 90's I was told I was getting a computer with "Windows" to replace my mainframe terminal. I took a 12 week night school course on Windows can you believe. So old records would not be computerized. Old files that are kept get stored offsite and are difficult to access. If the parts were "Moog" manufactured, they would have been GM spec which may or may not have been exactly the same as the Moog commercial part in a Moog box.
