The Moonshine Rod Run is held every Father's Day weekend, here in Newport, Tennessee. It is for 1958 and earlier cars, although a few otheres usually come, too. We didn't get to check all of them out, I think there were about 350-400 there today, because of a storm that came through.
There was (1) G-Body there, for sale, at $3200....108k miles..(1) owner if I recall correctly..got a couple of pix of that too. Was in super-nice shape. Wish i had the jack to buy it!

My youngest and oldest stepsons were allowed to sit in this rod, the owner was a cool guy, and was glad to see my wife and I trying to interest the youngest generation in the cars, so maybe they would keep the flame going......real cool gentleman.

Dig the roof spikes....had a flywheel for a steering wheel (ouch!) and a gas station pump handle for gear shifting.

Looked like a super nice show. Some really cool rods there. Quite a variety. Thanks for posting the pics.

It was, and you're welcome. Took my camera, but wouldn't you know, I turned it on and the memory card was full, so all of these were from my phone. WIsh we could have stayed longer, but like I said, a major storm came in and drenched the area.

You could've fooled me that you took these pics with a phone camera.. Excellent shots. Love the cars. I think I'd be dizzy looking at all those beautiful rides.

Yes, the Tempest was clean. I did take the pix with a Samsung Flight, and sent them directly to Photobucket Mobile, and they were ready for me to copy and paste images to this thread when I got home. Would have loved to have seen every car, as we might have been able to see half the cars, and even then didn't take but a percentage of those cars pix.

A Samsung Flight? Wow pretty impressive quality for a cell phone. The only phone I've seen that could take better pics was the C905A. Too bad we didn't sell that for no more than 6 months. I really wanted that thing. I work for AT&T btw...LOL
