so i have a rear exit manaul valve body 4l80e and am going to run a motion race works shifter. The problem is the stock hole in trans tunnel is at the front of the shifter. If i use that then i need to go from back of shifter to the front throught the hole and then back again to come forward and attach to the trans. Has anyone made a new hole? doesnt seem like a big deal im just curious if others have done this? also how did you re mount the center console? once i removed the stock shifter the from mounting bases are gone. Even worse the rivet nuts broke off. need to cover those holes.
