motor mount issues

I am working on an 80 cutlass supreme. built a monster chevy 350 and a th350 with my own hands (kind of proud ) and I cant figure out motor mount frame pad combinations. I started with frame pads for a caprice. no go. got engine mounts for an olds 350 no good there either. of course.the mounts that I have are steel clamshells on the block and after many wrong turnsd I ordered frame pads from summit for an 80 malibu with a gen 1 smallblock. these should have been the right ones, the part no. crossed to my car and about 60 other gm makes models and years so I thought I was set. they dont line up with any two holes on the frame and the pads have four holes, now I would think all 4 should be used. what gives

Only 3 holes get used 2 on top and 1 on bottom. Bottom front bolt hole will overhang frame back bolt will be in slotted hole in frame.

I have Moroso solid frame and engine mounts and they go on like the factory Chev. frame mounts with only 3 holes used for gbodies 2 top and 1 bottom, never been an issue even with my little monster.
