Alright, so I've spent almost a whole day trying to get my mounts to line up so I can get the bolts in them. So far I've loosend the three mount bolts on each side, I've tried prying and pounding them to get them in place and just now I tried switching sides with the clamshells and no luck at all. Now I've got it to where I can get the driver side to go but the passenger side won't come close. It keeps wanting to sit on top of the tabs instead of droping down where its supposed to. Any idea's that might help out a little bit??? Also, on of the clamshells has a boxed in nut on one end, should this be on the driver side in the back or on the passenger side in the front??? The clamshells and mounts came off a mid 70's chev p/u, I checked and the mounts are the same but maybe the clamshells are different? Anyone know?

Shouldn't you be using the mounts for a sb chevy v-8 Monte as the truck mounts and clamshells are different and won't work.

Actually they did work, all it took was a doner bolt, a little beer, and a BFH. We're good.
