Whoever bought these new bought a luxury car that could make a new Vette look slow. The fancy wheels and badges are the only give away to the beast underneath. Could it be ordered badge delete and wire wheel covers?
No, all 87 LC2 cars had GN or T badges and GN or T wheels......also the 8.5 rear, turbo "bulge" hood, and factory boost gauge were part of the LC2 package.Whoever bought these new bought a luxury car that could make a new Vette look slow. I had always thought that a low mile, mint 80's 4 door regal with an 86-87 GN drivetrain would be the ultimate sleeper. Keep it 100% factory appearing with the exception of 15" steel wheels and wire wheel covers from a full size buick......and whisper quiet exhaust. But there is nothing stopping you from building that sleeper.
