Thanks! But, why red? What is the obsession with red parts?

I guess its for people that just wanna look cool by showing off red parts.
The only red suspension stuff i have are shocks, just because they are koni and the ones i needed are red.

Everyone with red parts think they're cool looking, until they spend a stupid amount of time cleaning the road muck off to make them red again geesh!

I got stuck with red calipers on my TBSS and the wagon because that is what PowerStop uses as a signature colour (black is a special order). And yes, they are a huge pain to keep clean. Bright colours definitely draw attention to the specialized parts - and if it makes you happy so be it.

Personally, I prefer subdued colours, tints and shades (says the man with the bright yellow stickered up station wagon).

Yep! Well i fibbed, the poly bushings are red on my stuff lol! But I'm not going to spend $$$ just to switch to black. A little bit of red is ok in my book.
Everything else is either semi gloss or gloss black, hammertone gray, or charcoal.

My opinion is that too much of a bright color causes a visual distraction. At least for me, my goal is to have just accent color here and there. Especially with the engine bay, i like the idea of a "diamond in the rough"....the motor is the centerpiece, the heart of the car, and should be the main focus when the hood is up!

Btw, the wagon is more of a subdued yellow, pale in comparison to canary yellow 😉.

I like how when some color is the signature "standard" and then they charge more for black, when I bought my ZEX nitrous I waited until they came out with there blackout series since their standard color is purple and I certainly didn't want a plate and bottle that was purple plus everyone knows black is faster.

1. That is a lot of chrome on the master and booster;
2. Yes, accent colours work - as long as it doesn't look like a bag of Skittles exploded all over your car; and
3. It must be subtle because the cop didn't seem to notice what I was doing last night when I came roaring up on him going the other way.

When I bought my used cross member it was a bright red orange powder coat yuck! Now it's flat black. I put it in stealth mode
