How have you guys all done it?

Yea I just wanted to stick with 4x10's but curious on how I should mount them. Can't use stock brackets, which I expected

I don't know if there is an aftermarket mounting bracket available, maybe someone else could chime in on that. I modified a pair of original brackets to allow the aftermarket speakers to fit. Hope this helps.

I bought the 4x10 adapters to install 6x9s 😀
I've run both. This is the better choice.
X2
Got mine off Ebay for $16.99 shipped and some 6x9 3way kickers for $69.00. I am very happy with the end result.

If the 4x10s you have don't line up, you could use self tap screws right into the rear deck from inside the trunk. Just make sure you don't get screws that are too long otherwise the will poke through. Ive done this before with no problems. It just sucks laying on your back in the trunk.

HTH

Get the adapter brackets and go with 6x9's way better than 4x10's which can't handle the bass!

if you have access to a router you can make spacer rings way cheaper then you can buy them 😀 that's what I did
