msd 6al box

Putting on a msd box and was told by a friend that i need to put a low resistance bushing under the coil, cause ill burn up my points, , has any one heard of this, and if that is the case why i wonder wouldn't summit mention that when buying there msd box? I sure dont want to mess things up

if you are upgrading to a MSD box why not get rid of points
