Does the factory pre-drill mudflap mounting holes? Just wondering because my SS has 2 holes in all four fender lips consistent with mudflap mounting locations.

Ed1948,
I do not think they drilled them but my 88 SS had the holes present when I purchased it from the original owner. The body is the same used for the non SS cars so they may have been the attachment points for the side moldings.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Ed,
Use the 1.5" drywall screws I dropped off to you last week to mount your new trucker mud flaps..............it's a sweet look !

On my Regal, the mudflaps were just attached to the wheelwell trim mounting screws.
