Well i know we have gotten alot of new members since i have joined so those of you who have not seen my car here are some of my latest pictures. Next thing on the list for the car is to get the seats redone and some light window tint, but i am in no hurry. It is fun to drive now so i like it. There it is in her beauty. enjoy

Well thank you very much. Alot of time and effort went into it and yours can be even better! No doubt. thank you

i am not a chrome fan the wheels and drip rails and window trim is enough for me

I'm kind of the same way.
When I took the trim off mine and sanded the paint, I found no rust or filler under it and started thinking it would look better with out the chrome when its done. Kind of hard to judge being in a million pieces right now. Nice to see a clean one with out the chrome to give me an idea of what it will look like.

i also used to have the fender chrome trim that i didn't put on either. other than that i am not to sure of what else

I love the choice of color. It works really well with those cars. It's kind of understated, yet feels modern too. Plus, the light color does not show off any minor flaws as much as darker ones.

i wish the pictures did justice for the paint. There is actually alot of pearl in the paint so it has alot of different shades depending on how the sun is hitting it. but i love it and am happy with how it turned out

I also like the choice of a relatively mild cowl hood, not the too tall monstrosities some are wont to use. It works well with the wheels. The only suggestion I would make is painting the wheel wells and frame below the rockers with some black spray paint so as to clean up the underside a bit. It tends to minimize the cluttered appearance some cars get with lots of stuff hanging down ( Not saying yours looks cluttered though). I do it to every car I paint as it's a detail that makes the car look complete. I'll also add that I think you have the cleanest Malibu on this site! Not stock looking, but not over modified so that it loses it's original character and charm.

BTW, what are the drivetrain specs on your car?
