Well I guess I can start throwing up pictures of my '79 Elco. I've had the car for a while but with my new edition to the family I have been quite busy. Not to mention the sudden drop in Las Vegas' construction industry has made funds tight. So I've been having a hard time getting to work on it. Mainly I have been making sure my apartments don't trip on me, so I'll take it for a spin to get it washed and I've been stocking up on parts. My first set of pictures are just of the car when I first got it.

This is an old shot of the motor. I found that my Torker 2 intake manifold was broke at one of the bolts. So this was before I replaced the intake with a Edelbrock Performer.

Went and picked up a few parts yesterday. I got an electric fan from a T-bird and a complete dash with an uncut wiring harness. The dash has a few cracks but it is still ten times better than my old one.

Dash and wiring installed. Now I can have a stereo and the a/c controls can be mounted up right. I still need a new gauge pod and I want the floor shift column.

Here she is with the new head light bezels and turn signals. I got the bumper fillers but I'm not putting them on till I get the body work started. BTW, thanks O.D. Showtime (Kevin) for the fillers and signals.

It's coming along nicely Joe! Glad to help with the parts...let me know if you're needing anything else, I've got lots of bits and pieces and parts here. I think I've even got a couple of pretty nice header panel ornaments yet. Anyway keep up the good work.

Thanks Kevin. It's a slow process but now that the baby is out of his newborn stage, momma has been giving me a little more time to play! I do need an ornament, so if you got one I'll take it. I also need a new gauge pod too. Let me know if you got any.

Hope everything's going well with the little one...they are a joy for sure. Good to hear you're getting some "play time" on the Camino. Email sent with pics of ornament Joe.
