Thanks for the responses. Quick question, is there a trick to get the lower door chromes back on. I'm having issues with the tension on the clips and getting the two studs lined up through the door.

I figured out how to install the chrome; it helps when you put the clips on the right side up. I had a few friends help me take off all the necessary pieces and sand down the car. Guess I should have had them stop by for reassembly, D'Oh

I still need to cut and buff. I'll post more pics when it's further along.

More pics please! Black is one othe possible paint color if i ever get started on mine. 8) Is your interior gray?

nice,i like the black paint on it.

The interior is brown. I want to finish it up before I get more pics posted. I'm waiting for new windshield trim clips and I need to buy molding for the back glass (used to be a vinyl top). It really needs a cut and buff, but it's been to cold around here so it will have to wait a little while. I like the way it looks in black but I just know it's going to be a pain in the *ss to keep it looking good.

Looking good! I like the the omni brand paints as well, very nice product to work with.

Thanks; Yea, I wish I would have used Omni on this one. The extra hassle with the buffing is going to end up costing me more time, so I really didn't save much.
